Our technical team have all the fun! They get to indulge their passion for technology, both when installing and supporting your IT solutions and when researching new and innovative ways to apply the technology and you benefit from this passion!
Why he's an asset
Extensive Macintosh skills with a programming background, combined with installations of Linux and Windows Platforms, means William contributes highly valuable cross-platform experience.
Specialist skills
Scripting Unix shells and Applescript programming with numerous other development programs.
Ambitions for the next year
To build on my FileMaker Pro development skills and develop Unix applications that add the “bits missing” from Apple's OSX applications.
Hobbies
Programming, database development, photography and all things domestic!

William brings 10 years experience in the IT industry and prior experience in the printing industry to his role as senior technical engineer.

His expertise with Unix-based operating systems ideally places him to support and bring value to our Apple clients and his broad knowledge of Windows operating systems fits perfectly with MIS' cross-platform integration skills.
He undertakes database application development, Unix 'under the hood', web development (the tricky stuff like CGI work) and process and workflow application development (such as help desks) based around database applications.
Why he's an asset
Nick brings a youthfully enthusiasm to the technical team, his telephone manner with customers compliments the existing team. He brings with him a thorough knowledge of the Windows environment.
Specialist skills
My skills mainly come from a Microsoft background encompassing all major networking technologies.
Ambitions for the next year
To acquire more technical Macintosh OSX skills, as well a better understanding of Unix. I also wish to continue my studies in Java software development, and Object Orientated programming.
Hobbies
Photography, stage lighting, music and Mini's.

Nick graduated in 2003 with a HND in Computing Science. His studies and experience prior to joining the MIS team are primarily with large scale military networks and Windows operating systems.

Nick's ablities as a cross platform engineer compliment the aims of the company, with his total commitment he is a bright asset to the company

His knowledge base is growing continually, with guidance from the Senior Technical Engineers, he will be capable of undertaking any maintenance needed on Apple or PC platforms.
His friendly and supportive nature allows him to build solid working relationships with all MIS customers.
